The Whitman School of Management's Franklin Supply Chain Management Advisory Board selected Yossi to receive the Salzberg Lifetime Award. The Salzberg Medallion has come to be recognized as one of the most prestigious awards in the field of transportation and supply chain management. Yossi was selected because of his lifetime achievements in the field of Logistics and Supply Chain Management. As a respected scholar, educator, innovator, and entrepreneur his contributions have made and will have a lasting legacy in supply chain management. At the Harry E. Salzberg Memorial program on Thursday, October 6, 2011, Prof. Sheffi delivered an acceptance speech titled, "Risk and Resilience - a Look into the Future".
